The Plant Based Standard Certification is developed in Sweden, together with several leading certification bodies, with the purpose of being a tool to confirm that products produced as plant-based are regularly checked by a third party, on site.
Uniform labeling for plant-based foods is a response to a growing need from both consumers and the food industry.
The Plant Based Standard Certification meet the expectations of controlled plant-based foods, while at the same time giving food producers, restaurants, cafés, grocery stores and hotels an opportunity to show their range of these foods and that they meets the standard requirements.
